Satkhira is one of the costal district of Bangladesh. Scarcity of safe drinking water is the serious problem of this area due to salinity, contamination of arsenic and lack of adequate tube wells. To collect pure drinking water, the women have to go to far distance place and are exposed to different harassing behavior in sexual nature. For this reason, Ashar alo has installed some tube wells in the remote and urban aeas of satkhira. The environmental condition of the project area is very poor. On the other hand, most of the people do not use sanitary latrine. As a result, the prevalence rate of water bon diseases like Diarrohea, Dysentery, Jundice are increasing day by day. To reduce prevalence arte of these diseases Ashar Alo has stared installation sanitary latrines in the project area. Also to ensure to ensure the hygienic health to every family Ashar Alo is working with full speed.
